War Mongrels features striking animated cutscenes inspired by true stories of WWII soldiers and put together by a team of historians to create a story of the lesser-known hardships and struggles of life on the Eastern Front. Consisting of German, Polish and Lithuanian soldiers, follow their fight through occupied cities, enemy barracks and body pits as they tackle missions against the Third Reich.Įach member of the team has their own set of skills and abilities and players will be able to use the game’s Planning Mode to strategise the best course of action and queue up multiple commands for an operation to be successful. Set in the Eastern Front, War Mongrels follows the story of a squad of freedom fighters fighting for their homelands, values and humanity. War Mongrels Is the newest Real Time Tactics game that starts with you controlling two German defectors horrified and sickened by their, and their comrades, actions in WWII.
